But now Verdauga and Tsarmina were gone, Kotir destroyed, and the last wildcat alive, Gingivere, had abandoned royalty for farming. At least his daughter Tsarmina was a bad girl (extremely so). "Lord Rigvar?" it spoke hesitantly, making the raven turn and open his eyes, "what is it Sumiss?" the raven Rigvar asks a little peeved at being disturbed, "the doomwytes are getting restless, it's been nearly a year since Kotir has been replaced by the new abbey" Sumiss the snake informs, "ah yes, that new abbey, Redwall I believe" Rigvar notes: the raven was one of the many vermin that plagued Mossflower during Verdauga Greeneyes' reign, and that cat had been a bane to Rigvar, for a vermin: Verdauga may have been evil, but he was much more compassionate, something Rigvar finds totally alien and appalling to vermin. The statue sat on an island in the middle of a sulfurous pool, and laying at the shore was a male raven who looked to be meditating. The raven's eyes were made of rubies, and the snake's were emeralds. In a hidden cave rests a statue of a raven with a small snake on its head. "Burr calm down y'all, Granvy will show up in a minute" Axtel assures, "you know I've always wondered how Gonff and Rigvar met, my mom told me the story about their descendants clashing" Marjoram recalls to Fumbril, "well now we're about to find out" Fumbril jokes and they laugh when Granvy finally returns, "sorry I'm late, but I'm not as young as I used to be" the old hedgehog laments and rather painfully, walks slowly to where he's supposed to read the story, "here why don't I help?" Clarinna offers and helps Granvy at a slightly faster pace, eventually seating him at his podium, "thank you Clarinna" he thanks as Clarinna took a seat beside her children and Granvy opens the book, "now let's see here, ah here we go, in the beginning." he began, and so does Gonff's and Rigvar Skor's history. These two were busy trying to calm the excited kids. Also present were Ambrevina Rockflash the badger-mum, Abbess Marjoram, Ruark Boldstream, Mumzillia O'Chubbacutch, Rainbow, Darbee, Drull Hogwife, Friar Soogum, Fumbril, Gurjee, Gurffa and of course, Axtel Sturnclaw the warrior mole and Clarinna Kordyne, Redwall's first hare to be the champion. Many of the children that the Ravagers had taken (and those that weren't), like Gurchen, the hedgehog siblings Jiddle, Jinty, Auroria, Rambuculus, Trajidia and Dubdub Witherspyk, Guffy, Tassy, Borti, Tura, Urfa and Calla Kordyne, Diggla, Rikkle and Twissle were now slightly older. As soon as he spread the word, Big Bartij sounded the news through the bell and Great Hall was prepped for a story. Granvy Shtuckle had found an interesting story in the gatehouse, one detailing the origins of the doomwyte-horde that had earned the reputation as the first vermin to attempt conquering Redwall.
I can do the speed-impediments of hares and various birds, but not moles.Some of the characters I'll feature will be named after other fictional-characters, though others will have names I just made up.Don't expect me to include any songs or a riddle from Martin, poetry was never my thing (and I'm terrible at it).
